Program & Outreach Librarians (2 positions open)
Salary Range: $15.50 – $17.50 / hour

FLSA Status: 32 Hours /week. Full-time Benefits / Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: You are creative, tech-savvy, community focused, and accountable. As part of a team, you deliver services to fulfill the library’s strategic plan. The ideal candidate has a passion for lifelong learning, civic engagement and shared literary experiences. Communicates effectively with curious patrons of all ages. Library experience a plus. Bilingual a plus. Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends.

We envision one candidate will take the lead in meeting Strategic Objectives related to Tech Literacy, Tech Maker, and Critical Life Choices. The second candidate will take the lead in Maker Arts & Crafts, Curiosity & Discovery, and Shared Literary Experiences. These leadership assignments may change after the Library evaluates each candidate’s skills and experience.

The Estes Park public library has thirteen public access computers available with printing capability. If you need to work on a resume, search the Internet for a job, or apply on-line for unemployment our computers are available for your use.

In addition, the library subscribes to JobNow, a Resume, Job Interview, and Career service designed to help you prepare for and maintain an effective job search;  check out JobNow.

The library also partners with the Larimer County Workforce Center to provide free workshops for job seekers in Estes Park.  Watch for news on our website or in local papers.
