In recognition of the one hundredth anniversary of Armistice Day (November 11), pick up a copy of ‘All Quiet on the Western Front.’  Then join us to hear about Laurie Button’s quest to walk in the footsteps of one WWI doughboy who was killed helping to liberate a small village in northeastern France during the Meuse-Argonne offensive.

Now retired, Laurie Button is a former feature/special sections editor with the Estes Park Trail-Gazette and a frequent contributor to the Estes Park News. Her interest in World War I spans nearly three decades. Laurie and her husband, Joel, have been Estes Park residents since 1991.
