Readers of all ages are invited to rock their summer with the Estes Valley Library, as we celebrate reading and literacy, with inspriation from music.

“Libraries Rock” is this year’s theme, as music inspires our summer celebration of literacy and learning. Reading logs for children and teens, as well as babies and preschoolers, will be available beginning Wednesday, May 23. Reading logs for adults will be available beginning Friday, June 1. This season’s program features great reading incentives (prizes) accompanied by a roster of special activities and events.

The Summer Reading Program is all about:

  • Nurturing early literacy for young ages, while sustaining literacy for all ages through lifelong learning
  • Building community
  • Multi-generational collaboration and creativity
  • Maker-themed programs for hands-on imagination and invention
  • Rediscovering the joys of reading for pleasure.

Watch for more details and announcements coming soon. Thank you to the Estes Valley Library Friends & Foundation and generous local businesses for making the Summer Reading Program possible.
