Successful personal money management—how to save more of your household’s income, and how to make those dollars grow through smart investing—is rooted in a simple understanding of core financial literacy principles. To help with this important effort, the Estes Valley Library has developed a curriculum with proven success, a program that is now being used by public libraries around Colorado.
These concepts, as well as all the curriculum materials are now available at the Common Cents for Colorado website.
The Library’s Financial Programs Consultant, Marsha Yelick, is also available for one-on-one consultations to answer any of your personal finance questions. The information provided is unbiased and free of charge. Marsha is a retired Chartered Financial Analyst, which is the financial sector’s highest level of certification. Contact Marsha at: email@example.com or by calling 970-586-8116 ext 831.
