The Fitbit Charge HR is a bracelet with a built-in activity tracker. The Fitbit can track steps, distances, calories burned, floors climbed and active minutes; all are visible through an LED display. The Fitbit can also measure sleep patterns. Information can be transferred wirelessly through blue tooth to compatible devices or to a personal computer.
Through the introduction of fitness trackers, the Estes Valley Library offers it’s members an opportunity to learn more and make informed decisions about this type of wellness device, and about your own health. We invite library members to give the Fitbit HR a test run (or walk) to determine if this is the right wellness tool for you.
All district and non-district patrons may borrow a Fitbit. Loans are for 3 weeks. Patrons must agree to the terms of the loan, including replacement costs if the unit and accessories are damaged or lost.
