Request a meeting room

For assistance in booking a meeting room or to schedule instruction in the use of equipment, please call the Library during regular hours at (970) 586-8116, then press 3. Please be aware of all policies related to the use of our meeting rooms. The library begins accepting bookings for the coming year every November, watch our website for specific date information.

Small Study Rooms

Two study rooms on the 2nd floor are available first come-first served for up to 3 people. Please limit use to 2 hours.

Hondius Community Room

The Hondius Community Room is the largest meeting room at the library with a maximum occupancy of 49 people. This room has a small kitchen area. There are 9 – six foot folding tables and assorted smaller folding tables available for use. Please call the library (at 586-8116 press 3) or click on “Request a meeting room” above to request use of the Hondius Room.  the ‘Event Calendar’ tab and ‘Submit Event’ to schedule the room. To check availability please click on the ‘Event Calendar’ tab above.

The Hondius room is equipped with a retractable screen, LCD projector, a Mac Mini computer, 5.1 surround sound audio system, VCR/DVD, Apple TV wireless audio/vidio for Apple devices, and a wireless Internet connection. Input to the system may be made via our computer based DVD or CD player, USB flash drive, your own notebook computer via VGA or HDMI video and mini audio connections, or Apple Airplay from late model Apple devices.

The computer has installed an Microsoft Office with PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Please keep in mind that use of non-standard type styles or non-optimized images and graphics in presentations will produce an unexpected “look” and a decrease in performance.

Limited instruction in the use of our equipment is available from library staff during regular hours.

Please note that equipment and Internet performance may be limited by many factors. Network speed may vary dependent on use in our public areas and the speed and availability of the locations outside our building that you are accessing via the Internet. Wireless networks are not secure; it is recommended that confidential materials not be accessed over this connection.

The Hondius Room is available for set-up 30 minutes prior to library opening. This request should be made at the time of booking

Wasson Meeting Room

The Wasson Meeting Room, located on the 2nd floor, offers tables and seating for 25 people. Please call the library (at 586-8116 press 3) to schedule the room or go to the ‘Event Calendar’ tab above and click on ‘Submit Event’. Please check availability for the date and time you wish to book by clicking on the ‘Event Calendar’ tab above. This room is available only during regular library hours of operation.

The room is equipped with a wall mounted screen, projector, a Mini Mac computer, 5.1 surround sound audio system, and a wireless Internet connection. Input to the system may be made via our computer based DVD or CD player, USB flash drive, or your own notebook computer via VGA and mini audio connections.

Microsoft Office with Powerpoint, Word and Excel is available on the computer. Please keep in mind that use of non-standard type styles or non-optimized images and graphics in presentations will cause a decrease in performance.
