The Estes Valley Public Library District (Library) prioritizes reliable and equitable access to its collection of print, digital, and other materials in order to support our vision of a literate, informed and enriched community.

Library materials may be returned to any Library location. Book drops are open 24 hours. Library materials may be returned to any Colorado public library, but you are responsible for materials on your account until they reach the Estes Valley Library.

Lending Guidelines, Holds and Renewals

  • Physical Collection: You may check out a total of 99 items at one time, and have up to 45 Holds on your Library account. Most items may be Renewed two times, if the item is not on Hold for another patron.
  • Digital Collection: The Library limits number of digital check outs and Holds by each digital collection provider. This number may be changed without notice. There are no Renewals for digital items.

Arrived Holds for both physical and digital items are held for 3 days after a patron has been notified. If not checked out, the item goes to the next patron on the Waiting List. In the case of an Interlibrary Loan, the item is held until it is due back to the Lending Library.
