This spring, the Estes Valley Library Friends & Foundation will be opening a used bookstore that will be open year-round. This will replace the seasonal sales, creating a much more efficient flow of donated materials and more convenience for shoppers.
Beginning this Tuesday, January 8, used book donations to the Estes Valley Library Friends & Foundation may be dropped off inside the future store site at 191 W. Riverside Drive, located next to the Estes Park Post Office. Book and materials donations will no longer be received at the Library after January 7.
Scheduled Drop-Off Hours (beginning January 8) are:
Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Friends & Foundation accepts donations of used books, DVDs, and music CDs. Anyone dropping off materials is encouraged to view the Donations Guidelines, to see the types of materials that are accepted.
For current drop-off hours at the new location, as well as Donation Guidelines, visit estesvalleylibrary.org for up-to-date information.
Each year, used book sales raise tens of thousands of dollars to help support programs, services, and special projects that raise library services to a higher standard of excellence. Your generous donations of materials for use in the sales helps to support the library for years to come. The Library Friends & Foundation thanks the community for the tens of thousands of items donated each year, which raise vital funds while providing new homes for these books and materials.
