The Makerspace is another benefit that comes from having an Estes Valley Library card. You may reserve equipment for your use in the Estes Valley Library Makerspace. All equipment must be used in the Makerspace Room. To reserve equipment you must first be “badged” in the use of the space and you must have been trained and signed off to use the specific equipment. All Makerspace users must have a library card in good standing and use their card number and their PIN code in the making of their reservation. Call the library at (970) 586-8116 and press 2 if you have questions about your PIN.

If this is your first time making a reservation please familiarize yourself with the process.

Please limit your requests to 3 weeks beyond the request date.

  1. Enter the date, start time and end time for your reservation. Be aware that there are limits to the time you can request different pieces of equipment; to see those limits click here.
  2. Look for the desired equipment on the list. Green bars mean the equipment is available. Modify times and date as needed to achieve availability. Note that unavailable spaces can be viewed by clicking at the bottom of the page. If you would like to see a key to the colors that are used to show availability and lack of availability click here.
  3. Click the “Pick Me!” button.
  4. Enter your name and library card number and click on “log In”. Enter the Purpose of your equipment use (keep it simple). Select “No Organization”. Click on “Submit Request”.

When your request is approved, usually within 24 hours, you will receive a confirmation email. Please review the email to make sure the exact times requested have not changed, we may make small adjustments due to other activities in the space.
