Citizenship and ELL programs have been developed based on community feedback. You asked us to provide new immigrants with information on citizenship, English Language Learning (ELL), employment, public schooling, health and safety, available social services, and any other topics needed to participate successfully in American life.
The Library helps coordinate tutoring and programs for those seeking to learn and improve their English-language skills. The Library is currently seeking volunteers to help serve as tutors (and it’s not necessary to speak a second language to be a tutor). Click here to learn about the ELL Tutor and other volunteer opportunities.
We also host citizenship classes in the fall that help those who are preparing to take the U.S. Citizenship Exam.
