We’re making changes to the Library catalog. During the transition, you’ll be unable to place holds or renew items, now through Wednesday. Curbside service is unavailable next week.
A Village Catalog (the Public Library, all School District libraries, and Eagle Rock School) is being created for the first time ever, with all physical and digital holdings united into one streamlined community search-system.
As we migrate from our current tech platform to the new one, there are a few services that will be briefly unavailable. Patrons will be unable to place holds on items beginning this Saturday, Sept. 19, continuing through Wednesday, Sept. 23 (items already being held will still be available). We’ll also be unable to renew items, now through Wednesday. Access to the search catalog may also be limited on these three days. There will be some delays on checking in returned items during these days. Curbside service will be unavailble the full week of September 21 to 25. Processing of Interlibrary Loan requests will be delayed during this time. Then, we’ll all enjoy a 21st century library system at 5 community locations.
