Relax, de-stress, and read for pleasure, while earning great prizes. For all ages!

How to register for Summer Reading (now through July 31):

  1. Identify your age category and click the corresponding blue button below
  2. Choose if you’d like to track your reading individually OR as a family.
  3. Create your account. (If you created an account last summer, it will work again. Call us if you’ve forgotten your login information.)
  4. Read joyfully! Listening to books counts too.
  5. Earn prizes as you tally your reading time and complete our fun reading challenges.

Children ages 0-3

Earn a bag of books and other fun prizes by reading aloud to your little one.

Children ages 4-11

Read (or be read to) and earn prizes as you move through 3 levels.
Earn a Color-Me Turtle, an Animal Hopper Ball, and of course, free books to build your home library.

Pick up a reading log at the Library,
OR print a copy from home: English or Español
(then enter reading time through the button below)

Teens ages 11-18

All participants receive a free book. Log 20 hours of reading to finish, AND you’ll earn a 4M Solar Rover STEM Activity Kit! All participants will also be entered to win a Board Game Prize Pack (includes 5 Board Games: Settlers of Cataan, Pandemic: Legacy, Munchkin, Aquarius, and Flux).
All who finish the 20-hour challenge will be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE: a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.


Not just for the kids, adults get to participate too!  And did we mention there will be prizes?! 
Complete just one of 8 Reading Challenges, and you could win a local-business gift card of your choice—then complete 5 Challenges to enter the Grand-Prize drawing.
