Mission of the Library Friends & Foundation
The Estes Valley Library Friends & Foundation solicits, receives, holds and manages gifts, bequests, and reserves on behalf of the Estes Valley Public Library District (Library), so that these assets and their earnings may provide ongoing support for facilities, staff, programs and services to help achieve the Library’s mission: “To bring people, ideas and opportunities together for the enrichment of our community by providing access to quality information, resources and services”.
The purpose of the Friends & Foundation is to provide support for the Library by:
a. Building an endowment to ensure the viability and sustainability of the Library
b. Managing Library Friends & Foundation investments for the present and future benefit of the Library
c. Seeking additional funds to support Library operations
d. Providing volunteer assistance to the Library
