The Library has two physical locations where services are available: our main library, which is located in downtown Estes Park, and The Twig “mini-branch” at the Estes Valley Community Center.

The Library is proud to partner with our local schools (Estes Park School District and Eagle Rock School Libraries) to create a Village Catalog. While there are no onsite services for Estes Valley Library patrons at these locations, patrons can browse and place holds on Village Catalog materials at catalog.estesvalleylibrary.org, and pick up those holds at the Main Library or The Twig. **Please note that during the summer break, school collections are not available.**
Parking
In the busy summer season, downtown Estes Park utilizes a paid parking system. Learn more here.
From May 24 – October 20, the Library lot paid parking hours begin at 10 AM and end at 5 PM. In other words, parking is free for vehicles in the Library lot before 10 AM and after 5 PM.
Between 10 AM – 5 PM, parking lot users have the following options:
- Sign up for our Park Like A Local program! We’ll take care of registering your vehicle for a “Local Permit” with the Town of Estes Park. This permit grants you two hours of free parking anywhere in the lot.
- There are 7 free “Library Reserved” 2-hour parking spots, first come first served. Please make use of these during your visit!
- If those spots are occupied, select another spot and use the kiosks or ParkMobile app to pay $2/hour to park.

If you prefer to not pay for parking, check out the free parking garage just south of the Estes Park Visitor Center. You can use the free shuttles and trolley to access downtown, or walk along the Riverwalk and cross the street at Brownfields on Elkhorn.

Friday & Saturday: 9 AM–5 PM
Sunday: 1–5 PM
Curbside pick-up available Monday-Saturday by appointment.
The Second Floor & Computer Commons close 15 minutes before the above times.
SUMMER hours: Memorial Day–Labor Day (open at 9 AM)
WINTER hours: Labor Day–Memorial Day (open at 10 AM)
