The Estes Valley Public Library District is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees. The board is responsible for the library district’s finances, formulation of policies, long range planning, and evaluation of the library director.

Trustees are volunteers, jointly appointed by the Estes Park Town Board of Trustees and the Larimer County Board of Commissioners, and serve a four-year term. The library board meets regularly once per month.

BOARD MEETINGSTRUSTEE APPLICATION

The Library Board brings together a diversity of thought and expertise, cultivated in our varied personal lives and careers, which informs our commitment to public service. This includes backgrounds in computer science, business, personnel administration, education and the arts; and living and volunteering in Estes Park, across the US, and the world.

We share a passion for reading and the life-changing power of literacy; hands-on service; and advocacy for the success of every member of the community, especially our young people.

Together, these perspectives inform the values guiding our governance, fiscal stewardship, and strategic commitment to inclusive and equitable services, energizing us to continuously elevate the quality of the library—and its integral role in our community.
